Ive never really seen a result like that before. did it light leak?

The dreamy, hazy effect is class.

Its the Holga that has the lens scratched on the edges. I have about 10mm scratched around the edges. That and the very strong sunlight work well together. The light only hits the building for a very short period of time around noon and a little after. The left top corner is burnt out by strong sunlight, its not a lightleak. Its the street lights that caught my eye, the sun shinning through was so strong.

This image gives a wider view and a slightly different perspective. 21mm lens on scala B&W slide film. Its worth a visit especially on a sunny day around lunchtime.

    ouch.

when i was in nyc there was one lab in nyc… one in california. i think the california one is the only one still processing.

i travel some off the beaten-path places… i’ll keep my eyes open for a fridge full… and a guy who doesn’t know what magic he has.

Great shot eddie. It looks like night time, could be anytime in the last 100 years.

With 6×4.5 insert which I rarely use, but thought I might as well try it out this time…first one without flash, second with…

Rarely ever use the insert myself either.

Too natural looking portraits there Johnny. Especially the first one!

The format is used very little on the Holga, surprising really it works so well for these portraits. A few extra shots per roll as well and for printing especially in the labs you have more options on paper size.

By the way Eddie…you know what’s even better? Shoot 6×4.5 on a 220 roll and it costs the exact same to get developed in Conn’s as a 120!

What film are you using at the moment.

It’s the Kodak VC Porta 120 and 220 with LAB conversions…
