    Feck, the horizon is…..oops. ;-) I like it. I think just a little more sky would balance it up for me. The colours are very rich and warm. I also like the fact that there is detail in the shadows. On a shot like this it add depth.

    Valentia,

    I agree with you there regarding the sky. I’ve uploaded a better version. There is slightly more sky and it is less washed out than previous.

    Do a refresh to see it. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Yes, before anyone comments,

    The horizon is a hill….
    and hills usually aren’t flat. Usually.

    Carl, keep the guns in the holsters, we will shoot our way out if we have to. Our cunning plan may not be so cunning.

    IF you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

    Nice simple shot showing how a pattern can make it for you. Getting the light and knowing what do do with it didn’t hurt either. Nice one!

    Excellent shot Andy, really like this one a lot. So much foreground and depth. Love the tractor trails through the wheat. Makes one want to follow them…
