Just chatting on the camera club site about the saltees and I mentioned I was there with PI a couple of years ago then when I looked for a photo from it I found out it was in july 2008, Bloody hell I thought it was about 2011 or so,where did that time go to
That was a brill meetup weather wise and craic wiseossie13ParticipantIt dosent seem that long ago!!!! That was a great day out, weather was sunny which goes against the grain for PI trips
Must try and get back down there this year!!
MarkKeymasterThought I’d replied to this…
Geez, 6 years ago ! Up your neck of the woods or the Antrim coast would be good too Cathal I’d say.
We’ll definitely get another big PI Trip going this Summer :)
ExpresbroParticipantI have similar memories of the Mourne’s trip several years ago. Although in that case, we picked a weekend that had one of the worst snowfalls in years ;-)
Must look up some of my pics from then to see how long ago that was.
Great weekend too :-)
MarkKeymasterProbably one of my favorite trips Robbie. The Mournes looked great I recall.
Attical hike, poker and drink night – huh Cathal ? :)
cathaldParticipantand I bet the wee poracabin is still on the go :) it was a couple of years back when I called in

stcstcMemberMarkKeymasterSteve, I seem to recall you climbing over a wall/gate and staying there for the day or maybe that was another mournes trip :D
Anyhow and equal measure of photography and socialising is the key :)

Seems about right okay Ossie!! Great memories, although I think I nearly started an avalanche with my snoring.. ;-) Not to mention one of the scariest drives ever on the way back down the mountain going home on solid ice.
ExpresbroParticipantSee..I’m getting in the spirit of things, calling you Ossie instead of Steve ;-)
