which background paper to use?

    Hi all, well eventually got my studio together!! have a 3 background wall support holder, now need your help and advice.. which is the best of the seamless paper background paper to go for stuck between Savage and Lastolite both roughly same in price but wondered if any of you could throw some light (pun intended!) onto which is the best as in durable etc. appreciate any advice .

    You could try giving Paddy Barker from BarkerPhotographic a call in the morning. You’ll always get good honest advice from him.

    None of them are really durable as shoe marks etc will ruin the paper so you will probably only get one or two shoots on each pull of the paper. I’d get the cheapest one you can and also get yourself some white ductape so you can repair small tears withough having to pull out more paper.

    Meant to ask what are usually the best colour backgrounds to go for? Take black and white but is the a colour which you’d recommend for potrait/studio work
