The 60d has more pixels ,its lighter cause they got rid of the mag alloy body,and swivelscreen,so not sure if its a great advance ,I had a 50d good camera but heavy.the resolution was good but not a huge advance on my 450d.I would buy a 40d today if iwas buying another and save some money towards a good lens or if you really want a good camera go for the 7d.
