Which film and why ?

That’s a pretty serious looking fridge!

I have a bit of APX100 but didn’t know it was pushable to 320 – what do you use to push it, and what are the results like ?

Also bought a pack of FP-100c Polaroid film and took a test shot with one of these. Very impressed with the colour and clarity, probably because the only Polaroid’s I’ve ever seen before were taken with a cheapo Polaroid instant camera with a crappy lens.
As an aside, has anyone taken a Polaroid, and tried to scan the negative you’re instructed to throw away?
Here’s the result of trying this, the test shot I took of the mutt lying on the ground.

Strange result, I know, but might be interesting if the image was a landscape or cityscape?

Yep Im tricking around with the process, took this this morning, strangely the neg came out red . . .
I love it so far, this was from FP100C silk

I think these are at 320 I;d have to check my records.
Ignore the quality I relaly need to get a film scanner thats less than 10 years old =)

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for the pics – what’s the shadow detail like in the negs with the push ? The contrast level doesn’t seem over the top,

No the contrast is still well under control at 320, but saying that I lke high contrast so maybe not the best judge of it.
Shadow detail is good, I’ll try and shoot some examples over the weekend of the same subject at 100 and 320 to show the comparison.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up. I have a few dozen rolls in the fridge begging to be shot, but the mountain of TriX has proved very possessive, and intolerant of other films..

When I do, I must give it a whirl in some Diafine, which I’ve picked up for pushing TriX at night. Really just a curiosity for me at the moment, so don’t put yourself out with comparison shots :)
