    Took this with a Fuji compact a while ago while out Geocaching..72 dpi only

    Started playing with Photoshop – What would you guys do with the above?

    You could create a new adjustment layer (maybe curves or levels) and darken down the sky in the second shot
    to start with.

    Nicely framed with the branches and the rock in the water adds some interest together with the reeds.

    Adjusted the sky but overall the pic looks a bit too dark.

    I’m only new to Photoshop so still learning what it can do, or should I say what I can do with it.
    Got myself a copy of Scott Kelbys’ “Photoshop for Digital Photographers”. Its very good..

    Try to play with midtones and highlights. It brings the clouds out stronger and the background will not be so dark….
