Here’s the first of two that I took today up at Whitepark Bay.
Comments and critique always welcome.

RobertoMemberAndy, interesting and nice shot.
I have only small suggestions: make it darker and in landscape format (rotate 90deg. left) and crop a little from the bottom part.tara1MemberPaddyJoeParticipantlike that tennis player with your same surname said YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

Mr Malaprop strikes again!
andy mcinroyParticipantLOL Paddyjoe, but it’s McInroy rather than McEnroe. Don’t worry, I get it all the time. Think McIlroy and you’ll be closer.
Tara, do you SERIOUSLY think it’s ruined? I think that Roberto might have hit the nail on the head there about the rotation. But to be honest, neither this nor the 90degree format are quite right due to the fact that it was shot at an angle of 45 degrees. This was the only way I could get the composition the way I wanted it. Unfortunately the shadows give the game away and show the tilt which now looks a bit un-natural.
Thanks everybody.

Yep sorry Andy i do, it would be a good abstract pic if it wasnt for the shadows which arent needed and shouldnt be there apart from being a distraction from a good image sorry :(
By the way Merry Xmas :)
andy mcinroyParticipantThanks Tara,
I wouldn’t have got the golden modelling light without the shadow so it’s an imperfection I’ll live with for now.
Anyone else feel strongly about this?. From a personal point of view the un-natural rotation would concern me more than the shadow. Although saying that, I’m starting to convince myself that it looks natural enough. Photographers blindness?
