For me the first image is the best, nice early morning / misty feel to it. Good composition, nice colours and a bit of extra interest with the crow.
The second one suffers from the slanty horizon, and for me, the rock is just too dominant in the frame.
The third one is a great idea, I love silhouettes in sunrise, but I think it could have been improved if you had positioned the plants to the side of the sun, rather than the sun directly behind one of them, athough I’m sure some poeple like the way the plant is visible in the suns refection on the water.
I was lucky with the positioning of the bird when I arrived he was in that position and as I franticly set up I was praying he would stay and luckily he did.
Would you believe I never even noticed the horizon was so off??? Even aside from that I wasn’t sure if I liked it so that well and truly settles it.
Never thought of positioning the sun anywhere other than behind the bush so I’ll have to give that a try next time I’m out.
