General Chat needs to get back on track… whilst I have my reservations about some of the postings in recent months, the lull over the past couple of weeks has been hard to deal with… it’s hard to survive the working day without some brief moments of escape.
How about going the other direction, and ONLY post in general chat for the next 4 weeks 5 days 9 hours etc…..
Getting tired of all these whiny photographers cracking the whip over their critique not being good enough.

Mr NFL, your reservations are well founded IMO, it was a bit crazy before I
took leave, it was out of controll really with silly stuff, good fun we all had a go and a laugh
but my work was suffering.I like to look at images so instead of going into the GC room I went to the critique
section instead and spent more time looking at images and reading comments.Liam, no !

It wasn’t trolling and it wasn’t an arguement… well at least not where I am concerned.
Usually if I say something I’m just saying what I think. I’ve sat in pubs here with people and had similar sort of discussions… nobody took offence. Because certain people might not like it and it’s the internet… it’s suddenly referred to as ‘trolling’. I never actually heard of that word till I came here.
I do find it quite funny how all these ‘internet personas’ mesh and the manner in which some people can laugh at things whilst others will get the skimpy little g-strings in a twist.
As long as I’m healthy, reasonable happy and always got a few notes in the arse pocket you can tell me I’m a bolix, tell me my photos are crap, tell me I’m a Dunphy, even call me the c word… when I turn off the PC I remember its the real world that matters.
