Who would you go for your Business cards, Letterhead, etc?

Just to see who do you go to to get your business cards, letterhead, pricelist print, Post, Leaflet, etc?
I got a BRILLIANT Business cards in moo.com as they do Mini Business cards that you can put many photos in the back of the business card!
SylviephotoMemberHey Johnny,
+1 on Moo, they are brill, and they’re good at making their own marketing.
I love the finish of their cards but I just feel like they’re quite pricey and there must be plenty of guys locally that could do a good job at a cheaper price and wouldn’t restrict you in what you can do with the front of your card (layout wise). I used a local guy a while ago and was disappointed with the main colour being completely off but I paid very little for these cards anyway…brightredshoesParticipantI moo too.
There are cheaper options, particularly if you want to go for a large print run but what I like to do is constantly change the images on the back of mine on a regular basis so that I can give a handfull to customers when I’m handng over product or print with their own pictures on the back, so they are more likely to carry them around and show them off to others. So adding a short-run moo card order has become part of my workflow.

MFlemingParticipantSylviephotoMemberHey everyone,
Just thought I should share my experience with Reads. I just collected my 100 run (they dont normally do 100 but since I said I wanted to try them first before ordering more…they said fine). I got them for less than 45€, in 350mgm paper, laminated, double sided and regular business card size. Had the choice for each side between glossy and matt, which is great because it allows you to play with textures. It was ready in 24 hours.
The colours are exactly as I wanted them and the printing quality is fine, which was my biggest fear.
The only thing I’d say is that the cut is a bit rough on some of them, but your man was cutting them when I arrived so many I made him do a rushed job.
I used to love having loads of different pictures behind my business card (from Moo) until a graphic designer pointed out to me that having a consistent branding (logo and all) is more important than showing an example of your portfolio, as well as the fact that you want people to go and check your website out, and not making a quick conclusion on what you do and how good you do it by putting one picture at the back. That’s up to everyone but when it was said to me, it was an eye opener.LovelifeParticipantI have to agree with M Fleming on Vistaprint
Have been on this site numerous times, they arent expensive. You can get ones quite cheap depending on what you are looking for, obviously each extra you choose adds extra to the price but they arent really expensive for simple business cards that people will pick up.
They do letterheads, tshirts, hats, business card holders, etc like the business cards too – these are probably dearer then the business cards though :D

DanBParticipantI have to disagree with Vistaprint’s services. They are cheap alright, but this shouldn’t reflect in the quality of the final product. I ordered 500 cards with own design, but looking back to it now, I should’ve went for somebody who understands your order. They did such an awful job cutting them, I had to reorder them. After a couple of days (they are quick though) the new 500 cards arrived with an even lousier cutting job. A waste of time, paper and money in the end because I threw them all. Not to mention the brightness of the image based business card which in their view was really dark. I will never order from them and I suggest if you want a custom made business card find someone who can actually discuss your order.
I printed brochures in A4 in Reads and I was happy with their service and the overall result.
Green MeanieParticipantJust got a run of 100 mini cards from moo, brilliant job and will be ordering more.
I fired up about 10 of what I thought were my best images so got 10 of each and have a logo and contact details on the flip side so I wouldn’t worry about consistent brading. On the contrary, you can target your audience better with a portrait example or landscape or wedding etc.
John.
LovelifeParticipantI recently received two sets of 500 business cards and two different sets of 250 cards from Vistaprint and was very happy with the result. I will admit that i had to write to them in regards to their customer service but they were very helpful – when they eventually replied.
I was quite happy with the result. Sorry yours where not up to standard DanB!
johnnycorcoranParticipantI got the vistaprint from them about two years ago and I HATE the Business Cards..its look cheap, not glossy and shinning. So Moo Print are amazing ALSO when I gave them my business card, they ask if they can have a look at the rest of the images, then people will look over the shoulder and saying whats that!!
So anyone have good or bad experience with A4 Letterhead? Just as a white boarder around the edge? Happen to me before as I order some in Reads. Wasnt happy, but Prontaprint was the good one (As I used to work in Prontaprint)
