There will be a near record crowd at Croker 2 morrow.Should be a fantastic occasion.Got a pair of tickets for the Hill.Been to Old Trafford and Wembley but there’s some atmosphere at Croke Park.Maybe Murrayfield some day in the not too distant future.Munster Munster Munster Munster………
Alan RossiterParticipant5faytheParticipantHopefully the match will live up to all the hype and hullabaloo that
it has generated since the quarter finals. It certaintly has the makings of a fascinating encounter. But as followers of sport
will know massive media hype does not always equal fantastic game.I am intrigued by all the fuss over what shirt the fans wear and the fact
that people who live in Leinster might wear a Munster shirt.
The red colour is going to show more prominently in Croke Park this evening
no matter what the Leinster rugby authorities do.I remember an All Ireland Hurling semifinal I was at between Cork and ourselves
a couple of years ago. Looked like Wexford had no supporters.I caught a snippet of a Leinster rugby official on radio recently suggesting that sanctions
should be taken against any supporter who got tickets through a Leinster source and
turned up in a Munster shirt. Maybe it was a Gift Grub sketch.I hope that all the players involved do themselves justice today, that the supporters (both in
the ground and watching on the box) have a ball of time and that whichever teams comes out on
top goes on to win the Heineken Cup.Hope you all have a enjoyable and peaceful weekend.

steelydanParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantSeaviewParticipantLeinster thoroughly deserve their victory today as they were the more hungry team, that said Munster were terrible and should never play so poorly again.

FlipsakeParticipant5faytheParticipantWhat an enjoyable occasion that was.
Leinster had a good game plan (I know it’s a cliche) and were able
to keep it going for the whole game.3 tries in any semi-final is a good haul and the 2nd one was a bit
special. When BOD broke away to score his try I instantly thought of ROG’s
one in 2006 when he gave the triumphant hand signal just before he
touched down. There was a great atmosphere in the pub where I watched it with loads
of banter between the opposing fans.I had never heard a crowd in a pub shouting “LEINSTER …… LEINSTER …..” before.
Molly Malone even got an airing.Lets hope they can go all the way now.
If they play with the passion they showed yesterday they have a great chance.
Cheers all.
John.
