Like the first shot the most. I have seen this guy a good bit on Grafton Street he is a real nutter by the looks of things and he ain’t got a note in his head:-) (im sure he is a nice guy though) Really like the facial expression on him. Only thing i might have done differently is maybe zoomed out a small bit to get all his hat and maybe see some more of his guitar and his hands

Love the first shot. The tight composition and his expression really make it. I think it would benefit from a touch more contrast.
For me..the second shot has far more character..or maybe it’s just familiarity breeding contempt, as I have a hatful of shots of the Polish Cowboy myself… :wink:
I think the colour and the detail in the second shot are far more interesting and it is nice and sharp with good lighting. Looks like you got in pretty close for this one

200mm gets the image pretty close :-) I had the 70-200 on the camera (5d) at the time. I fired an off camera flash set to -1ev detail and shadows.
