Looks very nice John. Nice and sharp, presume this is a converted camera. Not a fan of colour IR so would prefer it in contrasty B&W but thats a personal thing. All in all a nice one
Thats stunning, I love it, just one teeny teeny niggle is the wires n poles
in the background, next time take a chainsaw :) but that is just me I am
fanatical about poles and wires hate them.
I really like the sky colour, sets it off perfectly, and it would put you in mind
of a snow scene, I love how the windmill blades came out black….super!
To think I wasn’t even going to post this. I only put it up because I knew a few people were interested to see how the camera was going. One of the reasons I didn’t bother about the poles and wires and the like was because it was only done as a tester. I might have to re-consider.
Alan – I didn’t pickup the convertor yet. Have a few other toys I have to get my head around first.
Mick – The post processing isn’t too bad. It’s just a combination of boosting contrast, making sure the bits that are supposed to be white are white, working on brightness, things like that. Some tutorials here http://www.lifepixel.com/digital-infrared/instructions.html
Martin – Yep, it’s a converted IR Canon 30D bought from Peter Cox and in immaculate condition.
