Windows 7 versus Mac

Am thinking of changing oprating systems from Windows7 to Mac. Any comments welcome on difference between two, calibration, hardware problems etc. Currently have Lacie 324 monitor, Epson 788O printer, CS5, Lightroom 3, 8gig ram, 1Gig video card. Have calibrated my current monitor using color munki. Any comments welcome.

your current software wont work on mac as does with win 7, unless emulation is possible which is possible. other wise have to purchase all software again. is their a problem with your current set up, why change?, save yourself money and headache.
Yea Phillip I think you are right. Have given it a lot of thought since I posted and it would be silly to move especially after all the programmes I have bought for Windows. Think this was just a case of the grass being greener on the other side. Thanks for taking time to reply to me.
