Wine Strand

First post. Very wild and windy weekend in Kerry, waves were huge on Wine Strand. Critique welcome. Photo taken with my Pentax k100d.

Just noticed your first post. (I see 87 others did also, but never responded). I think you captured the breaking waves well but the headland behind looks a little hazy. I?d have liking to see that in a little more detail.

i think the reason people haven’t responded is cuz they have to click on the thumbnail to view the full size image, posting the image straight in tends to get a better response. Anyhoo nice shot, great sense of the oceans power and fury. As Dave said a touch more DOF would be nice, perhaps a bit more saturation too, spot of dodging and burning maybe.

I like the way you caught the spray Aine. The misty effect appeals to me too.
