I hope its okay to post a second one in a day, I apologise if its not!

I took this down in Powerscourt with a 60mm macro lens…. I spent ages chasing the fly, and then it finally landed!

Hi Peter, no limit on how many shots you post. The more the merrier :-)
Good shot and having tried to catch and shoot these I can understand how long it might have taken to get this.
I think this could have been better with the other wing in focus

I would have liked to have more focus on the wing, however due to light conditions and the lack of a tripod, i could not close down the aperture anymore to get a deeper depth of field and I was reluctant to up my ISO too much….
