Image of the Moon taken with TEC140 apo refractor and Canon 400d.
Single frame; ISO100; 1/250sec exposure.

Thanks all for your kind comments.
All you need really is a digital slr and a camera lens of 1000mm focal length or so.
It would need to have IS and/or use a sturdy tripod.

Super shot, it sure doesn’t work with a 400mm lens.

1000mm dosen’t come cheap. Might look into getting a telescope with attatchment for mounting my slr direct.
