Woodland Path, Gearagh, Macroom (PS/Colour advice)

Hi all,
Straight from the camera (Fuji S7000) unprocessed image. Looking for any advice, editing etc.

It is a pity that the highlights are burnt out because they draw the eyes to the bottom half of the image instead of down the path. Did you shoot in RAW? Also, I would have selected a much longer focal length, maybe 200-300mm, and pointed the camera straight down that path. It would have been a much more powerful image I think.
Anyway, to the PS bit. I played with selective colour changes, and burnt the corners. Also patched the big highlight that was in the middle. Autumn is here…….
How on earth.. !!! Thats fantastic stuff!! I got to get my hands on a PS (and borrow someone elses ideas!! :p)
Hands up who votes for Steve for being the PS master??? Very nice edit. Makes an average shot (sorry) interesting.

Nice one. What a brilliant job!!!! You certainly brought the shot to it’s full potential. I have started playing around with the image as per your suggestions and what you did. I only got a full version of PS in the last few days. So we”ll see what happens to the average shots over the next while. As regards selective colour change was it just one change e.g. green – brown or where there more. Anyway once again cheers.
