jb7ParticipantJust made it-
Didn’t have a camera, so I threw one together this evening-
I don’t have much experience of pinholes, and don’t think I’ll be pursuing it too much further-
I much prefer lenses-
though I have seen some good stuff from pinhole cameras-
maybe I just need a bigger original…
must try that…The pinhole in this was 0.25mm, and the image is greater than 1:1- that’s a Matchbox model.
I did some at infinity too, not a whole lot more resolution…The Sunbeam-
jb7ParticipantAll this talk of pinholes and nobody did one?
Not even Dave?I dunno, took me half an hour to make mine-
not exactly rocket science, you know…davedunneParticipantI had a really nasty cold/flu and couldn’t leave the house. So I shot this at home on my Daylab Polaroid pinhole camera.
I did take a few using my Mamiya 645 with pinhole cap but haven’t finished the roll yet.
I had planned on going to a classic car and airplane thing at a nearby airfield but the cold/flu really wiped me out.
aoluainParticipant:oops:
yep a lot of talk about pinholes . . . and nothing done . . . yet !
nice images Joseph and Dave, sorry to hear about the illness Dave!
MarkKeymasterWell I’ve order a couple of pinholes to give this a shot next time around.
Perhaps a PI Pinhole (PInhole?) day is called for later on :)Anyhow, some nice shots there lads !

Well, there is a flurry of interest, it would seem-
Yourself and Alan, Martin, and, I have a special report that Rob has decided on f/166 for his hole-Dave, hope you’re feeling better-
So this is the camera I made for the WWPD-
I limited myself to one sheet of A4 foamboard,
and I was running out of Gaffer Tape, I could have used a bit more of that-Hole in tinfoil, poked with a 0.25mm drill bit-
Built onto a Polaroid back, but it’s removable-
Alan mentioned elsewhere that it was made in 5 minutes, not true,
it took half an hour, and it shows- very rough…
