Very nice. A very striking image. HDR?

The sky looks a little odd though. A bit too dark in areas compared to other areas. Was this taken with a wide angle lens? The pier looks to be shaped a bit odd but maybe my eyes are just wonky

Its a nice image. Its very tall though. I feel you could get away with ropping some off the top.

Nice though. good story/character in it

    Nice photo!
I would think about two version of it, to bring up the story…..
Convert to b&w with very dark clouds….
    or
crop from top and little bit from bottom and keep only the boat.

Hi Ossie, I must say I’m not the biggest fan of HDR but I like this , a very strong image. Mike

Very nice image. I think the processing on the boat looks superb.
If it were mine, I would tone down the bright parts on the clouds on the right and lose some of the sky

    Well done

Great shot Steve, your best in a while. Only recommendation i would make is what Deebo said about toning down the bright parts of the clouds

Yep, this is a decent ‘ol capture I must say. Been back and looked at it a few times now.

Some great detail in the timber on the boat. My only niggle would be that it is very hard to view… it’s quite tall and posted at quite a large size… I’d liked to see it printed and be able to step back a few feet. That’s not a criticism of the image though!

    Hi Steve~~

I would love to see it smaller as well.

I am really loving it and would like to be able to view it less distorted.

Everything about it appeals to me and it’s one of my faves on here lately!

The HDR is subtle and makes the colors vivid and even more believable. I have noticed a lot of people have a hard time getting that right. Heaven knows the one time I bothered to try it ..I failed miserably.

Get the clouds corrected and you have a winning shot.

    Nice work :D

Just fits on my little screen-
I like this, under all the processing-
which is maybe just a bit too much for me…

I might agree with just a bit off the top-

This is a really striking image, just the submerged trawler on its own is fantastic…..Brilliant

Lovely, tasty image – the wreck is really interesting, especially the rope in the foreground.

I think the wide angle lense has distorted the houses in the background a bit too much though – looks like they are being blown in the wind!

Well exposed shot, like it lots :)

I like this too, a well composed and exposed image.
The processing may be a little too much though, ever so
slightly overcooked. An image this nice doesn’t really
    need quite so much…

    Rob.
