Xmas tree

Hi all,
After spending a few hours putting this thing together – then decorating it – I thought I would try getting some snaps.
took this handheld – I will endure to get some with tripod.
Let me know what you think.

I like how the lights look – however the rest of the pic is very dark (not very Chirstmas-ie), and alot of detail is lost to the left.
A brighter pic would look better – more greens from the tree and reds from the baubles! Hard to do with the lights – might have needed a bracketed shot to get the best of both and merge them like a HDR
Although, I am looking at it on a very uncalibrated monitor, so it might be OK??
