Funny or not, it’s a wonderful closeup with just the perfect
dof to separate your subject from the surroundings. Looks like
you had a pretty productive day at RSPB Belfast Lough ReserveRob.
Would’ve loved to have been there an hour earlier when the light was better. Anything to my left was near impossible to shoot because the sun was in my eyes. Of course, that’s where most everything was.
Best bit was listening to the Lapwings (I think) having a go at each other. They were hilarious. It sounded like someone jumping up and down on a sack full of high putched squeezy dog toys.

Nope. I’d be shot if I did. The reserve has 3 permanent hides on the edge of the reserve. Unfortunately most of the birds choose to stay on the opposite side.
Lovely shot Aiden, Curlew/Godwit I can never tell the difference!
