Nice to see the yellow fields again, even if this one wasn’t quiet a rolling vista.

No I guess you couldn’t call it rolling! But nice all the same, the yellow always looks
so nice with a blue sky. Hardly any up here this year. Yellow fields that is, I live in
    hope of blue skies!

    Thanks Jenny.
I had only put away the camera after this shot when I noticed a beautiful fox approx 10 feet away from me & it hadn’t noticed me. I followed it along a track for about three minutes before it decided to venture into the undergrowth & it still hadn’t seen me. It was a great experience to be back out in the “natural world” with the camera ( it’s been almost a full year since I’ve been out shooting nature stuff). Hopefully, this will get me back in form. :)

Its been ages since I have seen a fox, I have heard the Vixen alright, but no
sightings, have never got a decent image of a fox.

You have flat spots in photography all right, though I just seem to drift to
different genres to keep the interest going, havent really done much nature
stuff either, the Woodpecker whetted my whistle though, hope to get a
    Cuckoo this year too!

I am planning on entering all the APOY sections this year, I did it last year
too, never won any rounds but got into the top 30 a couple of times which
I was pleased with, no luck in round one this year but fingers crossed, you
never know, if you are not in you cant win as the saying goes. :D
