BeamCatcherParticipant
Hi folks!
I have wanted to stumble upon some cool fields with Rapseed, and yesterday I did! ;-)
What do you think folks?
Cheers!
Ivar :D
PS! Happy BH!!!!
beefParticipantBeamCatcherParticipantHehe!!! Too funny! Have we been at the same place. I mirrored the shot before I uploaded it. I took it from Clonmel to Dublin. -No idea where excatly. But there was a chap with a camera at the same time. Was that you I wonder? -With a tripod?
Cheers!
Ivar :D
PS! Like the balance in your shot much better than my own…
beefParticipant:D The same place alright – the orientation of your fields had me puzzled but I had a funny feeling you flipped it… It’s between Kilkenny and Carlow. No it wasn’t me, I had no tripod – I was too busy trying not to get myself knocked down to bother with it :) That’s a nice shot – but I flipped it back again and I prefer the original for some reason…
randomwayMemberSo we can expect the third photographer showing up with his take on the scene?
MartinParticipantnice shot. Too much sky. I would have framed it differently to balance up the three main areas (sky, left field, right field) and put the tree off center, something like below is how i might have framed it
PeteMcDMemberThis is a classic shot. Lovely balance of colours. Composition is spot on. THe crosslighting creates good detail. A few puffy white clouds and you have an image to rival Microsoft’s XP field!
lousyParticipantI like it. The green and yellow sit nicely and the tree is a big plus.
A little too much sky though.Pat
RobertoMemberI like the format from Ivar and the colours… shows more shadow….
I would go little bit lower when take this shot …. to cover the trees on the right side…. and maybe cut a little from the sky …?But it’s very nice and classic shot as PeteMcD mentioned.
BrickeeParticipantRobMemberNice shot, in spite of it not really existing unless you look in
a mirror. Martin’s suggested crop works wonders here…Rob.
BeamCatcherParticipantHola! Grazias folks! Just a quick comment. As a general feeling for the shot: my old “mentor” gave me an idea: view the image upside down/flip for review. If you still have a “good feel” when looking… you are on to something. Anyhow… cheers and speak later! Ivar ;-)
MartinOCParticipantGreat shot, I like your original the best Ivar.
It works great for me.Martin
DenverDollParticipantLovely photo both ways Ivar!
I would have cropped it as you did…but Martin’s edit gives it a completely different perspective.
His version makes me want to run right into the picture and straight through to the tree.
Beautiful scenery there right now whether looking backward or forward.
Shar
wayneleoneMemberI’d crop just a little of the sky but keep the width as I like the undulating ground.
