When I was growing up this would always be called a ” Yellie Yite” never a Yellowhammer and I was wondering if there are other local names for it or if people have local names for any other common birds?

“Little bit a bread wi’ no cheese”, is all I know about him.
I used to have them in the area every summer and I knew when
I heard it that summer had arrived, I always called it boring bird as
his song is very repetitive, :) I havent heard it for about three years
now, hope it returns this year. Nice shot by the way :)
