Yes that is a gull perched on top of that rock.

What a great shot. If only the rock at the bottom was fully in light, golden with the sunlight.. Nice light and composition, great stuff altogether!

thats a beautiful pic bren …the light coming through the arch is just fantastic. you’ve managed to expose it very well for what were tricky lighting conditions. on a personal level i think the composition is stronger when you crop below the higher of the 3 small rocks bottom left . saying that you would then lose the lovely hint of light on the very bottom rock …so maybe not !?. great shot anyway !
Nice shot Bren I like also. One minor issue I have is the dark line along the rock edges, hardly noticable but will be if you print. did you combine a couple of exposures here ? ie. one for the sky and another for the rocks?, the reason I ask is it looks like you brought the sky in from a darker exposure and in doing so clipped the cliff edges , possibly with a feathered brush. Of course I could be totally wrong !….Either way beautiful shot !
