My major problem with these is that they are a bit soft, probably should have increased the shutter speed a notch or two.. Got caught out with difficut lighting conditions due to the weather
It’s a pity there on the soft side as you capture some great action.

Great photos, you did catch the action. I saw them on a few other sites aswell, I dont think the photos are soft from the shutter speed, I had a look at the EXIF and the auto focus was set to AF-A, for rally photos I would set it to AF-C to make sure the camera knows that you want it to track an object, in AF-A if you half held the shutter before a car came it would think the shot was static and go into one shot mode.
Sound, thanks for the advice. i could hear the servo tracking the cars in discreet steps rather than continuously. Must try AF-C next time…
