    it’s a crappy camera.

yes, of course, but I meant crappy crappy….
    I try to explain:
    LoFi crappy= good
    crappy crappy= not good

    Alessia,

    Congrtulations on your purchase.

    You won’t be disappointed!

I owned a Lubitel for over 20 years (it is with Mark admin now)

and it provided me with really good images.

In fact I would dispute the ‘lo-fi’ moniker

    when referring to this camera.

Basic it may be, but lo-fi most definitely not.

    Enjoy it. :)

    Eheh, Thanks George!
I’ve read your old posts about the Lubitel!!!!
Also if mine is a Lubitel 2 and the one you were speaking about, the aoluain’s one, if I do not get wrong is a 166b. Honestly I don’t know the difference yet… I’m trying to gather some info on the web right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I’m so excited… :D

I have a Lubitel 166 which I’m ashamed to say hasn’t seen daylight for almost a year. Its a quite a good camera though. Compared to a Holga, it’s a bit of a luxury with all the shutter speeds and apertures. Here’s a print from the last time I used it.

    Hi Fizz, you know what??
you should brush up on your Lubitel… film photography is very funny, I can also advise you about a good develop and print teacher… a HUGE one, I’d say!

I have Seoirse’s Lubitel 2. Lovely camera, good quality, must use it a bit more.

Its definitely not a LoFi camera though :)
Where you have a camera with shutter and aperture control its not considered Lofi to be honest.
    Not imho anyhow.

If you want LoFi, I came across a Holga for <€19 incl p+p on ebay.
I’m actually thinking of getting one from them myself
