Not the most popular of birds, but well captured. You managed to get good detail in the feathers and nicely captured highlights in the eyes. I think there’s a little bit of a halo in #2 at the wing tips though. Well done

Theres loads of these rooks down my way but I didnt’ realise they grew up into ravens. Is it like swans and cygnets? How old do they be when tyhey become ravens?

Rooks and ravens are two separate species. This one I thought was a young raven that looked like a rook – it now appears it’s a young rook. Raven are about 1.5 times the size of a rook
