Would anyone like to post what they think

This should be interesting hopefully it stays serious…

This is a picture I took in February in Norway. This is a negative scan with a crappy pinkish tone to it so you will have to imagine what the actual print looks like….. The darkroom print is a B&W fiber 16×12 print, possibly my favorite print of 2009…

Great, thanks for getting the ball rolling Martin, Lovely scene!

This is my fav from the year I think. It was a great evening during
the week, met up with some friends to go shooting and ended up in Spiddal.

The red clouds flashed for about 5 minutes luckily I was in position and set up
so it was just point and shoot! used the shift gear and stitched 2 or 3 images.

Great- funny you should mention that-
now while this maybe isn’t my best shot of the year, it is the one that has captured the imagination of the most people-
    2,155 views | 54 comments | 104 favorites on flickr-
about 430 English pages for plank 65mm jb7. (0.08 seconds) on google-
so maybe the most successful of the ones I post on the web-

If ever I was to post in member’s announcements, this would be it-

I haven’t edited a photo in months and months. It seems my last effort was in the Mournes in February, and I am sort of fond of this pic, mostly for the memories~* What a great weekend that was!

This is mine… Hand held with a 200-400 F4 Nikon, just a quick snap out the car window shot through a fence..

This is part of a set I produced for a friend of mine earlier this year. I put them together with some previous photos of their earlier three children and made a book using Blurb.com and it arrived yesterday. I’ll be delivering the book this weekend as a surprise (they don’t know about it yet) and I just know that she’ll go through the roof when she sees it. I have to admit, I really like it myself,

I’ve had a few that I really like and a few that have got positive feedback but this one sits well with me and doesn’t fall foul of time changing my opinion on it.

This one I took recently of the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. I know it’s been done a thousand times before but to actually get there myself and be in a position to take the photos was wonderful. It’s an eight photo stitch and I know that it’s not quite right but I’ve no problem putting it up on my wall.

While I was there waiting for the lights to come on and the rain to ease a guy came over talking to me. Turned out he was a carpenter from one of the Broadway shows. Yes, I did ask him which one but I’ve forgotten. He was very interested in what I was doing and the whole stitching idea and was heading off to try it himself when he left.

I also got talking to a very excited bride and groom. The bride’s lifetime wish was to get her wedding photos taken in front of the Manhattan skyline. I got the feeling the choice of husband was secondary to this wish!! In fact there was a stream of newly wed couples and their entourages to the site to get photos taken. I had to beat my way through the stretch Hummers to get out of there!

    Some cracking shots folks.
The baby book will be superb, lovely gift for the proud parents.
My fave image is one of my son I took on Tramore beach, got it print A2 and its framed and hung on the living room wall.
My best for display is one of my Paris shots, probably this one:

great topic, and great pictures so far :D
this is mine, maybe not the best of 2009, but one of my favourites (there’s a colour version on my website, but decided to put the b/w here instead)

    Lovely photographs presented here.
    well done to you all.

It’s a difficult question or at least I find it so.
Rather like what’s your favourite song.

Any this, I think, is probably my current favourite.
It’s also a picture that came out very similar to what I imagined when I looked at the scene.

    John.
