stasberMemberMaybe telling a photographer to “get your kit off” would come across as insulting; a reflection of the quality of pictures taken by said photographer or lack thereof, insinuating to better leave kit well alone in the cupboard.
On the other hand, “get your kit on” would sound like an open invitation for the eager photographer to flex those shutter-releasing, cf-dialing, kit-heaving hands.
Or maybe not.
