My list grew a bit since last posting in July too ;)

    Impoverished rustic here Wink

Canon D30 (yes that’s D30, the six year old 3.1Mpx model, not the spanking new 30D)
17-40L f4 (bought secondhand from a Flickr friend)
    50mm f1.8 II
Sigma 18-50 f3.5-5.6 (bought before I got the 17-40 and now surplus to requirements and for sale to anybody willing to offer me anything over ?50, Canon EF mount, only for 1.6x crop bodies)
Hama tripod, not expensive but not the cheapest
    Couple of CP filters.

Fujifilm S5500 (my previous camera, still handy for backup and tele shots, and a sweet portrait machine)

Olympus OM10 and Sigma 28mm f2.8, Soligor 35-70 zoom (owned for over 20 years but now in semi-retirement)

Inconspicuous and dirty rucksack that doesn’t shout “Look at all my gear!” to chavs Wink

Now got a 30D and sold the D30 and Sigma lens to a friend, and largely use manual focus “vintage” lenses with it, my favourites being:

Meyer Orestegor 135mm f/2.8 (40+ years old, but lovely and sharp, a great portrait/headshot lens and fast enough for low light use).
Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 (indoor and low light special, great for gigs although focus has to be spot on with f/1.4).
Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 35-210mm f/3.8-4.2 (simply the best 6x zoom I’ve used, bright and sharp at all focal lengths and an outstanding range for use as a walkabout lens; I keep the 17-40L in my pocket for any wide stuff, thus covering the entire handholdable range with two excellent lenses).

I’m still toting it all about in the dirty rucksack though.
