Hi Ala, no unfortunately not. That film was in the Bronica well over a year. I always keep saying I should get out with it and really use it I didn’t like that Ilford film though, there’s other b&w’s from earlier and they look much better. I also need to get a light meter.

Excuses, excuses!!! Is there not a metering prism on the camera? Or you could use you Canon’s meter. How long is it now since we met up in Gorey, I would have expected enough film through the camera to line the streets of Wexford. The problem with film is that it lacks the immediacy of digital and requires more work before you see any results. You take your pics and then don’t find out that you’ve mucked up until its too late and then the light’s gone or the subject has flown or whatever. I have about ten rolls of film on my desk waiting to be processed, that says it all! By the time I process them, the impetus is gone. I haven’t given up yet though. Still love film and even bought a second-hand camera on eBay recently, an Olympus 35sp rangefinder.
So there’s hope for you yet, just get the finger out and get some more (decent) photos up here.

David, you’re an absolute gentleman. Yes you’re right of course when you say excuses excuses!!
We met in Gorey on the 10th October 2009 and I had come all the way from Wexford without my wallett, so I had no money with me. how embarrassing!! You were kind enough to stand me a cup of coffee also.
Again David I must say a hearty thank you for the loan of your Bronica and I must say every time I look at it I always feel I have a good camera in hand. The film aspect and not seeing immediate results is a bit of a downer, but as you said, I really must stop making excuses.
I will endeavour to use it more now that I’ve been scolded :D
Thanks again David and once again may I use it as a prop in my exhibition this year also?

David O Callaghan, many thanks for the EXTENDED loan of your Zenza Bronica. I got it 10 October 2009 and you got it back 25 October 2014…5 years :? . Again my friend, a hearty thank you and I hope it is working again.
