Lovely shot Steve. Looks like it would have been an okay morning after all. Bit rough now..but looked okay earlier.

The light seems fine on that shot even at ISO 100. Very sharp around the eyes and face..well done.

Wish I’d gotten up this morning now :)

I went over to the football grounds afterwards to find the deer in the park. I think I got some good shots … I’ll find out later when I transfer them. Some eejit let her dog (some big fighting type) loos near the deer and it started chasing them. I was only 20 or 30 yards from them and they came charging down at me. Luckilly the herd split either side. If I had a rifl I would have put down …. the owner!!! (the dog was just following it’s nature).

That shot came out really well.

    Hi Steve,

Have to hand it to you. You’re not put off by the weather at all. This is a lovely shot you caught a great expression on the Lions face, poor old thing or is he. I know I don’t agree with zoos in general but I have heard somewhere that the ones in dublin zoo are pretty well cared for. So can’t be all bad. Both shots well captured.

Lovely shot. King of the jungle, no doubt about it.

well having seen this expression I reckon his missus is more suited to the title of King of The Jungle
