Thanks, ill give it a go this weekend and post again next week. I did however, want to take a completely dark night shot because i have a place for it in mind to hang in my house. the room is Black and white and so only dark contrasting colours will work but i appreciate the feedback because i am a complete beginner and only learning so all of yuor opinions are greatly appreciated. Keep them coming!!

I had thought of getting it blown up and put onto canvas alright. I have an 7ft x 5ft canvas of New York in my sitting room!! its HUGE!! Think this would work well in my hall though!! Reckon ill revisit the location and try a few more shots to get it just right!!

Being from Malahide i too appreciate how hard it is to get the Marina looking just right. Colours are wonderful but there is definately too much burning from the sun. Maybe if the sun was taken out of the frame and the focus was more to the left towards Cruzzo’s and zoomed in a little or maybe leave the focal length to take in the path behind the Square Tennis Club. Great idea for the location of the snap though!!

This is my favourite pic on the site. you can see the architecture of the surrounding in your eye. beautifully captured. You’ve already got a great eye for detail, God help us when you get you’re op!! Best of luck with it!!

Great shots. What was the new GTR like in the flesh?? Thats one photogenic car!! Love no1 too, Pity the bloke in the red EVO didnt keep in line and the lotus made its way in.

No1 is great. Maybe a split second later you might have gotten them both in the air and it might ahve added to it. But thats nto meant as criticism, Im only starting out myself so its just an observation. I love no 3. Smashing photo!!

Thanks Martin, yeah i was aware i chopped off the top. I have loads more of this flower in a vertical view. I took the image from Flickr but i will put up the settings in future….good advice!! Thanks

Looks a much more pleasant photo thanks. Think the Cropping is just right. That wasn’t a watermark, it actually says that over the Liffey!! HAHA!! Thanks for all the feeback Pete!!

I like it Vanessa. It’s just the right amount of Macro for me. Not too close you’re wondering what the hell it is. What lens did you use do you mind me asking??
