Thanks again Jb7, I was hoping to just use 2 lights with softboxes, maybe bring along 1 with a barndoor just in case.
It is pretty decent looking furniture, though a lot of it is high sheen which is no doubt going to cause some interesting problems, apart from that its strong coloured leather against dark wood chairs, solid wood tables and units, not much in the line of glass or mirrors thankfully.

Thanks JB7, as always a wealth of help and information.
I had looked and seen a lot of single items and room set-ups on white backgrounds, but unfortunately Ive been told this morning that its not really going to be possible to stage the sets, most of them will be in the customers homes having been sold already and Im required to take pictures on location, without making major re-arrangements. I would normally just set up the scene and put the camera on the tripod, dialling in the manual settings, but from what I’ve read this morning people seem to use extensive light set-ups, 7-8 lights with varying softboxes and barndoors. I dont mind setting all this up, but wonder if there is an easier more mobile option as these will be expensive homes and time is quite limited. Maybe 1-2hrs for 3-4 pieces.

Hi There,
Didnt get the club started, too many things came together at the wrong time to get it up and running. That combined with the problems of finding a place to hold meetings has kept me from getting it up and running.
If I get any further with it Ill let you all know.
Or if anyone has a premises in mind, in the newbridge, naas area that would be available once a week for a few hours let me know.

Sorry, as much as Id like another camera as backup, Im not in the market for one right now. Unless you’re price is extremely right and you consider selling that lens with it…. Pm with a price if you are..

Would you consider selling the 70-200 f2.8 lens on its own? If so.. How much would you want for it?

Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens
is the lens in question. Obviously Id like a lot of money for it, but Im realistic,

Hi jagian,
Im working on it at the moment, I was to have some help in it, but that person ended up joining another club.

Pm me and we can talk about it. Im keen to get one up and running as well and dont mind putting time into it. I think the Naas Newbridge area would be a good start as there is a club in Celbridge which would take from any club in Sallins area.

Lovely Clear shot, I was wondering how come it was all in such clear focus, seeing as how all my own attempts are horribly out of focus at front and back. Thanks for sharing and all the information as well. Its nice to soak up some new info..
