Oberon, thanks for your comments and suggestion. I used a canon 40d, I tried to shoot with the 17-85 but I had not enough large aperture so I ended up shooting with the 50mm 2.5 and it worked quite well :)
    cheers

what to say??? you’re too kind Sharon! Thanks very much for your words. I must say, I’m really enjoying food photography so far (maybe because I enjoy food!!!!) and I think I’ll go on with it, although I’m little worried it won’t be good for my shape :D

I Like very much the first, nice antique effect and the shutter speed you chose really suits the pic!
The second is nice as well, like the B&W but I’m not 100% sure of the portrait “orientation”. Of course it’s just a personal opinion, the pic is really nice!

And I’m also jealouse becuase I left Ireland without seeing the Causeway :(((((((((((

    italians are colonising PI….
Glad you joined Ale, as i told you, you’ll find lots of very nice people here and very useful advices.
I suggest you to join PI events as well… only be careful… some strange people use to take part at those usually. for example a blonde girl from the north (she’s a very good photographer but rumors has it that she’s so good because of her preferred model, the famous Miss Springer) and also a (random)guy who likes to organize obscure events in Airfield :)
But luckily there are also some wise people as the man who built his own camera (you can identify him by his deep, charming eyes) and the flying girl who comes from far far away… then, there are the FANs guys….. and many many others…
in a short… lots of fun!

    Cheers
