Heh, thats just my ”perfect” english :)
Eg, if I want to do a photoshoot in Glendalough Co Wicklow, do I need any permissions for that?

Just an example, if i want to take pictures in private property, church etc, i need permissions for that, but what about Glendalough Co Wicklow? there is plenty of tourists, in case, that some of them want to report me for something ( just an example)?!

If I buy anything worth more then 500 euro, I’ll buy in Conns. If cheaper then 500e – digitalrev or simplyelectronics.
Conns warranty and customer service is worth paying extra. I have never heard even one bad review about Conns.

Sometimes I’m amazed about the peoples taste. An example – I showed the pictures to my work mates, one of them said about first one – amazing, I would like to get big print of this one. Then a reply about third one from lady in hers fifties – uhhh, it looks so horrible, I love it.
Personally I love the first one. That’s my favourite from this session.
Looks like that’s very hard to any photographer to offer a photo for actual person, because tastes are so different.

I had a picture with opened eye as well. but don’t know why I liked this better. Biggest point I got from this – to more make attention to hair.

    Thanks guys!
Grainness was added by high ISO, imo it was 1600 (for D3000 it’s noisy).
Pixelle, scarf was added to cover body a little bit, because it looked for me too naked.
Shutterbug, I must agree with attention point, but try to look to it like on Canvas, and at least I’m getting a picture like it is in my brain without getting an acctual point of interest.
Ramsmith, what is SB point? (new term for me).
Now I can try to widen up my point of view :)

So, I ended up with Conns Cameras.
The difference was 600 euro betwen Coons and digitalwonderland.de. They reduced difference to 300.
I hope Conns Camera customer service is like people are telling, that was the only reason I bought everything there.

I’m junt not getting how Tamron 17-50 f2.8 with all same specs can cost in digitalwonderland.de 409 euro, in conns 650, sigma 70-200 f2.8 675 in web, in Conns 899euro. D300s cost 150 euro more. Okey, shipping 22 euro, but still…

Whatever trade or service you are in – you must be registered for VAT – in order to get a refund.

VAT registration is only compulsary when you turn over a large amount – €37,500 in the case of persons supplying services,

You must then always charge VAT on your services.

Its not discounted at the purchase – rather refunded bi-monthly when you submit your figures.

You’d probably have to be registed as a sole -trader also – and make annual revenue returns.

    Revenue FAQ’s here

You can get a VAT refund on EU purchases if you have a VAT number.

So looks like I can’t make any savings on this, just to be sure about warranty etc must walk to Bermingham camera store or Conns cameras, maybe they can make some offers.
If I understand correctly – if you are officialy registrated photographer, you can get back VAT?! Or you are just not paying it?!

IMO lens age doesn’t says anything. Check how smooth it is working, how diaphragm is working, focus at all mm. More important is – how often it is used.

bit late for this but I offer a service to people – distributing images to the national newspapers – if the image gets printed I show the person how and who to invoice.

Generally the papers pay €70 per pic – except the sun (they pay space rate)….images need to be sent as fast as possible to the papers.

If You are interested in BMW picture, pm me.
