    Hi,

    Well spot!

My only concern is the focus point here. I assume it was shot at telephoto range, I would have open a bit more (8?) as the lips are sharper than the eyes but it might not have been possible at this focal (or you need extremely steady hands!)

    Hi,

I love the way the hat help in the composition of the shot actually.

Maybe kneeling down a bit would have kept the eyes in the frame…

    Hi,

    Nicely done indeed.

I agree with the different remarks regarding the crop but that something you could easily fix.

On the other end there is something artificial for me in Ciara’s portrait. The background looks kind of fake for some reasons but maybe I’m the only one with this perception…

    Hello,

    I like this one
You can feel the intimacy in this shot and this is not something you can capture that easy

The only comment I’d made is about the background that somehow distract me (similar tone to the face, etc.) but I guess if shot in situation there is nothing much you can do about it

    Hello,

The composition is spot on for me

I would have personnaly increase the contrast just a notch but otherwise I really like the mood and the horizon curve really add smthg

    Hello Conor,

Very nice scene indeed and well executed!

The only thing is that I would suggest is a closer crop as I find the rocks in the background distracting. They are in the frame but don’t really add something to the composition IMO…

    Anyway well done

I like this -as said, it is a great expression and capture. I would crop out hte fingers in the corners though. Better to either have them all or not at all. I would try a closer crop and see how it looks to you.

    Hello,

I agree, a closer crop will definitely add something

    Love the expression though!

    Hello Snap Happy,

I agree with the previous reply on the sharpness

Looking at the blurry hands I guess you use a relatively slow shutter speed (1/30 on a 50mm?) that might be the reason.
I guess it was shot indoor, that would explain you had to go that slow (or maybe that was on purpose ;-) )

Anyway nice capture, even if I’m not too found of selected coloring in this case…

    Hi,

I would go for a portrait cropping to get rid of the tree in the foreground

I agree a B&W proper conversion is probably the way to go, with a bit of sharpening as well

    Hi,

    Really like this one
The toning is perfectly balanced and the composition is spot on as well!
