Thanks pelagic, happy that you also enjoy the reading lists! My working environment is full of such abbreviation/acronym, i am just getting a bit tired of them and that triggered my idea of doing this series…
You make me seriously think of the problem of my photo. And I exactly get what you mean. Yes, it really can’t tell anything by looking at this photo though it seems to be a protest. In fact, I took a few shots there and quite like this one due to its composition of two garda standing a bit further away from the protestors. That’s why I choose this one to post here. But I forget that for those people didn’t come to the scene, it would be very hard to know what’s going on here. Thanks again for your opinion, John.
Briefly, the protest is to defend public services and jobs as the government proposes to cut funding on various fields.
Let me post other photos I shot there for a fuller picture (though not good shots I think  )
Thanks John!
May I ask how you can fix the problem? using what software?
Between, I am now in Dublin and would like if you all members in this forum have any regular photography gathering here?
I would really appreciate to having the chance to learn from all of you!
Happy to have your comments~
Martin, welcome to HK again for the next time you visit there~ in fact, I will go to Dublin in early Aug as I have joined a one-year Ireland Working Holiday Visa~ Maybe we could take photos together later~
Liam2673, the pavement of the Wing Po shot is really elevated as there is a staircase in the middle.
jb7, the greenish cast is intentional. In fact, that was bit sunny day and the orginal photos are quite warm style. I tuned into a bit “lomo” style for matching the old buildings feeling. Happy that you like it.
John, I put too much photos in one post this time and yes, I should write a little text for that…
Between, I am really happy for joining this forum as I receive you all wholehearted comments everytime I post my photos here~
Thanks Broadford1, John and Yerman!
Yerman, your suggestion is good~ At the beginning, I only wanted to take a shot on the quiet old man. Then, two policemen and the kid crossed by that eventually made this photo! Photography is always out of expectation and full of surprise :D
