I don’t have vast amounts of experience in the situation, but i’ll do my best.

Jewellery/product shots is typically charged at an hourly rate( however you would normally charge for an hour, depending on experience) + an additional charge per product of perhaps 5€.

this is what i’ve done in the past.

Band session, consider your hourly rate, don’t forget to charge to hire your studio, your equipment…

hmm… not quiet sure where to go with this project now…better go there soon. something about collage and deadlines and tring to make work to them

ah yes the old critiques are a thoughy, on the technical v aesthetic debate, which could probably never be resolved, I think all images need to be technically perfect, its easy to get right, so why not, a friend once said, hes a great photographer shame about the crap images! anyway, i think any images out there whether it has a sunspot or not! if that sunspot was chosen to be put there, its technically the way it was meant to be, ah frig it this is too difficult.
