Well as a Manchester City fan I would like to say a big thank you to all the Man U fans for supporting Man City with every drop of oil products they buy.
I would also like to thank all the rest of the football fans out there and even the none football fans as they support Man City indirectly with every oil product they buy.
    Thanks all

I understand what you tried to do and why.
The long exposure may have been a little to long.
I bet if you tried you could make the same shot with a salt seller a table and a white tablecloth.
You could try covering the lens for a few seconds with a card this way you can cut the exposure time down

    Welcome to the site Brian!

You’ll be glad to know that while this photography ireland is online, quite a few of us
still turn off the lights and retreat into the darkroom on occasion :)

    Thanks for joining

Well that is good to know I am not the only one that goes cold turkey for the want of the chemical process and the I know I should be in bed like a normal human. But sure another hour wont hurt.

I don’t use photo shop but I presume you can change the density of the watermark you are using. That it may be faded out enough to make the photo visible but still strong enough to make the illegal copying of such not worth while.
There are also watermark programmes available that are imbedded within the photo. And will show up when any one tries to copy them.

You will find lots of modal release forms available on the net.
There are basically two sorts. one for Adults and one for minors. If your modal is under the age of 18 in Ireland then a legal guardian is required to be present when signing. They may also be required to be present during any photo shot.
In some jurisdictions outside of Ireland the legal age of consent may be 21.

The modal release form is a binding legal contract and should be viewed as one.
In the event of you passing on one of the photographs taken. Then you will be required to fill in and should be asked to fill in a photographic release form.
This is only an agreement between you and whom ever you may sell a photograph on to. You are giving them the right to use a particular photograph for whatever reason.
This dose not infringe on you copy write or ownership of the photograph. They do not have a right to pass your photographs on to a third party.

    Hope this helps

It has been my experience that if you are sending off a digital image to be printed.
It is best to set the image you are sending to the size of print you require.
