Beautiful photograph.
Very well composed, formal straight lines leading to a very dramatic sky.
Nice low angle to get the most from the tracks.
Perfect choice of lens with huge depth of field.
Nice detail and good clarity, (oh dear starting to sound like a wine!).
I love the stones to the right of the tracks, the bare trees and the stone wall on the left.
If I was to be super critical, perhaps a little less drama/detail in the clouds to the left, but I love this photo.
Feels like something is going to happen.
Great bunch of photots!
My fave is the last one, is that an internal reflection on the rhs? – the red version of the building,
Your eyes are drawn to the most interesting part of the shot.
Super-saturated colours.
Sorry, but am I to understand that you have a wooden camera?
Those bits of foam fell our of my Holga ages ago, don’t worry about it.
Sometimes the film can be a bit loose, that’s all.
What I’ve been doing is just deveoping the neg, which I then scan.
Some of hese scans get a fair bit of work and some I don’t go near.
Depends on the image really.
Some images benefit from the work, some don’t need it at all, and some suffer from being worked on.
I agree with bingbong, it’s all about creating a nice image, doesn’t matter how we get there really, the end product is all that matters.
Pretty simply in the end.
I resized the original scans again and saved them at the maximum value in image options, and chose progressive.
Pretty basic really.
I shoot mainly film so don’t spend too much time in phototshop, well that’s my excuse anyway.
