Unfortunately I don’t have the lens you’re looking for but I was using it for a short time some years ago. It was a rather expensive but not very good lens, images were very soft and mushy with very bad detail (and this was not fault of the camera used or the photographer). The only positive thing about the lens was the weight.

No
4. Is it clean in and out?
Yes apart from some dust in the barrel but that is normal with that kind of construction (push & pull zoom). Doesn’t affect the images.
5. any visible marks?
No
6. Do you have all stuff which come with this lens I mean lens hood, case, box?
Yes
7. Any problem with focusing?
Not with my 1Ds MKIII, some backfocussing with my 5D MKII
8. Where are you based?
West Clare
…it’s a good lens but I can’t get my head around that push/pull zoom and will get myself a prime.

Lens is in good condition, I bought it second hand from a dealer in the UK about 6 months ago but don’t like the push/pull zoom construction of the lens (but had no issues otherwise) and I am upgrading to a fast prime. I am based in Clare (but will be in Sligo sometime in the near future).

The lens is in perfect working order, no scratches, comes with all caps, tripod collar, original packaging and UV filter. I am selling because I haven’t used the lens in ages and upgrading to a faster prime lens. i am based in Clare.

I have been, and still am, in contact with Thomas McVea. As most here I was very suspicious at first but Thomas was very keen to clarify some things, mainly that no sign up fee is necessary if the required equipment and skills are in place. I am still not 100% convinced if I will join the project but it is definitely not a scam.
Everybody interested will get more information on the project by contacting Thomas directly and in my experience he is open to questions and criticism. So if you want to know more talk to the man.
