A camera club is a great place to learn with so many different topics being covered
lots of experience on this site also who willingly offer tips and help so just ask
super job Bren I would love to head northwards to capture the lights or “Rory the bollox ” as it’s known as up here by a good few phototogs, any chance you could stick up a KP 2 photo so to compare the 2, with a kp of 3 and the BZ’s in the minus we can get a faint glow up here in Donegal
unfortunately the media don’t do much research into these things and let people think that just because the skies are clear we shall see them, it takes quite a number of factors to come together so we can see them, and tonight is not one, local hotels up here have advertised seeing the northern lights tonight and have over booked the hotel and are contacting other hotels to try and get these people accommodation for something they wont see… Greed is an awful thing…….this is a decent site for checking readings you need at least a kp of 3 to get a faint aurora up here http://www.aurora-service.eu/aurora-forecast/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
Make a selection around the area you want to use as a brush.
In Photoshop 6 or later, go to Edit > Define Brush Preset. You’re done!
If you have an older version of Photoshop, continue with the steps below…
Go to the brushes palette (Window > Show Brushes).
Click the menu button. This is the small arrow in the top right corner of the brush palette.
Choose Define Brush from the pop-up menu.
The new brush will appear at the bottom of the brushes palette and will be saved with the active palette.
