i have the d3000 and there is asetting in set up mode to turn the pictures b&W before you shoot go in to shoot mode then to set picture control go down the menu to select monochrome press ok to select, job done.
willem has a point, if not a monthly mag it could be a quarterly mag. with info on sites and interesting things to photograph and controbutions from the likes of photographers found here on this site ..and tourists could pick it up on the news stands,or at the air port. mabe pocket size or a little bigger.
the first two are too bright for my liking. i have to take some pics of “getting ready” for a couple getting married shortly. these pics give me ideas. but i will use less light and see how things turn out.
What a great picture i hope to be able to take pics like that soon… it s only when i read the other reviews that i notice the pole could you crop it out.

hi ,im no expert and everyone will have a different view but, i would like to have seen more of the surrounding area on the second one .i feel its a little too cropped.
nice pics ,nice to see otters still surviving & breeding in that neck of the woods. you should go back up & down to photograph them & see how they are doing… & mabe use a zoom lens to get facial close ups.
