Gerry, I’m glad you have given insight into this form of advertising with your experience.

Have been sceptical of this approach to advertising, I say the web is definitely the way to go (weddingonline etc).

How many times have I had people ruin great photos on wedding shoots, no amount of editing could fix!!

Great capture, this is the kind of shot that the mother will appreciate seeing after.
Obviously she couldn’t see the back of her own head on the day :lol:

Sorry but I have to say that your b&w conversions are way too dark for me.

Do you shoot raw or jpeg? I’d bring some more shadow detail out if you shoot raw.

He is a true master at evoking emotion from couples. Was also at the Yervant/Buissink seminar last year, great day.

Agree with previous replies, I always try to get the so called “safe shots” in the bag before I try anything new or interesting. But how often does that happen with the timescale we are given on a wedding day!!

Yes I’d love to show up at a wedding looking like this :twisted:
Wore this for Halloween, freaked everyone out!!
It was actually very comfortable to wear compared to the Darth Maul one we did.

Have any of you ever considered putting the images up on a secure online gallery that is only accessible for a limited time.
Flash powered ones such as Simpleviewer also disable right clicking thus protecting your copyright.
Other versions run by the likes of Eventphotos and everybodysmile.biz allow ordering online for anybody who wants reprints.
Makes they accessible to everyone who attended the wedding allowing for more sales.

I am currently in the process of having my own version built from scratch with SQL and ASP.net (my wife is an analyst developer).

Only took about 3 and half hours altogether including shoot, she is going to be a busy girl come Halloween!!! :D :D
