Didn’t try doing too much skiing (i.e. black slopes) when I had my slr with me thus minimising the potential for an accident.
Usually didn’t start taking shots until well into the afternoon leaving the camera and lens a chance to acclimatise to the cold. Seemed to work ok, but didn’t give it too much thought after that.
Thanks for pointing that out for me, gonna try something with that.
Rocket man, I brought my slr up to the slopes as it’s my third time going I felt pretty confident that I wouldn’t be falling around the place. Kept on the blue slopes and a couple of the reds and stuck it in an over the shoulder waterproof “Crumpler” camera bag. Worked very well. Best snow they said for the past three years and it showed. It was great.
The pano was taken with my N95 as I didn’t have my slr that day. Madeline don’t suppose you could point out the bad stitching points as I’m at a bit of a loss to find it.
There’s alot of this type of composition of this forum, however I must say I’m a really like this.
Just a couple of things I would do (like saying if my aunt had a pair she’d be my uncle…….), I’d clone out the esb poles at the back right of the tree. I’d even try and clone out the cloud at bottom right of the tree as it keeps drawing my eye to it.
But if you hear of anyone selling one, I’ve been looking for that particular model for a couple of weeks both on here and on adverts.ie. Keep finding them late.
