Much prefer the first one! Colours are nice, but I like the wider crop – gives it a sense of context.
Not sure if you’ve added a gaussian/lens blur to this, as well as using a wider aperture, but if you have, I’d take it off the hands! If not, it’s cool as is! Don’t think there’s much more to be done to it, to be honest. Wouldn’t put such a big logo on it, but other than that I think it’s pretty well done!
You should stick these over in the Gigs section! :D
Anyway! Nice exposures, but just watch people ‘eating the microphone’. Try get them side on, or wait ’til they come out from behind it instead of their face being hidden behind it. I used to be a divil for it myself.
I would’ve chosen this as your best shot from the set, though!
The sweat, the pull on the bass string, the framing and his expression are all spot on, there! The fact it’s not as close as the others gives it a small bit of context too!
Hah! It’s gas – I thought the black background was too similar to her clothing to stand out, didn’t even think twice about the white!
Anyway,I’ve checked it on a mac and PC and don’t see it being too bright – do you mean it’s very bright, like there’s no detail in it or just too bright for her skin or?
Cheers for the feedback anyway!
